A Ballet

A ballet of two
Embracing purple hues;
As yellow with green,
Make blue.

Spinning in tune
With musical swoons,
I watch the yellow zoom —
In the summer afternoon.

With her little swing
From her fluttered breeze,
She brings peace
To a world obscene.

She makes the day
Happy and gay;
She brings sun
To a world in dismay.
