Over the mountains
And through the woods,
Bodies lay where I stood.
In the rivers and on the trees
Carnage as far as the eye could see,
It’s Bigfoot, the monster hidden in the weeds.
But wait, it wasn’t he,
Nor the animals around the scene,
It was man killing for political greed;
Invading armies from sea to sea
Controlling lands without thought or deed,
Just following orders with no morality.
Even Bigfoot is not a beast
Like human politicians and kings
Destroying life to fill their greed.
