Human Touch

Human Touch, A Walk In Verse Fan Challenge!

I long for the day to feel ones touch
But do not dare to say that much.
For I would rather sleep the day
As life always causes dismay.

Yet alone I sit in my home
As people outside live to roam
Making friends from sea to sea.
Why could this not just be me!

The thought of friends bring great glee
Holding hands and walking free
Attention sought so happily,
But comfort ceases rapidly.

The Walk In Verse challenge sent in by Susie: longing for more human touch missing out on life due to oversleeping, longing to feel more connected to others, but not wanting to make friends uncomfortable.
