Upon a hill, young men died 
As battlefield ballistics clarified, 
"The afterworld will breathe new life." 

For upon that hill, a battle engaged: 
Crimson colored pools 
Drank the blood of the brave. 

Rotted bodies became the terrain; 
Their coffin, the earth where they lay, 
Life exchanged for political gain.
